When my mom and uncle were little, they devised a way to catch a squirrel: a trail of acorns to a (metal) bucket, then they'd top that bucket with another one. To everyone's shock, it worked...but the sound of the squirrel scratching and trying to get out scared them so much, they dropped the buckets and ran.
