Emilie Coulter Monument

Description

The Emilie Coulter monument is located in section 291 (8) in Oakland Cemetery. The monument is a granite, die on base headstone. The incised carving on the face of the monument reads "Emilie Coulter" with a date of birth (Aug. 16, 1836, Greensboro, VT) and date of death (May 20, 1920 Atlanta, GA). There is a carved border of ivy vines up each side and over the top of the face of the monument. A smaller base on which the main body sits is carved with "Coulter" and ivy.
