The Speed Trap Intersection is an elevated crossroad for cyclists, motorists, and pedestrians. The elevated region acts as a visual and physical aid for both streams of traffic to slow down. The actual elevation region carries a sharp 21.1 % gradient that is intended to physically resist speeding in such locations. This model was specifically designed to improve bike safety and reduce accidents in places where cyclists and motorists intersect in Victoria, BC. Please do note that I only designed the road, structures, and intersection. The trees, people, bikes, and cars are all attributed to the fabulous Sketchup community.
