Burned landscape pre-rainfall (PC)

Description

This point coud shows a burned portion of the Las Lomas watershed along the wildland urban interface in the San Gabriel Mountains, southern California. The point cloud was derived using Pix4Dmapper and is based on Pix4D "Rapid" Keypoints Image Scale initial processing and "Low (Fast)" Point Density processing. Vehicles in lower right of model show scale. The concrete structure at the mouth of the canyon is a debris retention basin designed to mitigate flash flood and debris flows hazards during rainstorms. A residential community exists just below the debris basin.
