This fiber-tempered pottery sherd, recovered from the Shell Island site in Orange County Florida, belongs to the Late Archaic Orange Period (ca. 4600-3500 BP). It exhibits a complex rectilinear incised motif that extends onto the lip of the vessel. This artifact is curated at the Rollins College Archaeology Lab. (Model by Ellie Minette)
