Construido entre 1926 y 1929, esta infraestructura permitió el ensanche de Santa Cruz de Tenerife más allá del barranco de Santos. Significó un adelanto notorio en las soluciones constructivas en hormigón en las islas. Built between 1926 an 1929, this infraestructure allowed the growth of Santa Cruz de Tenerife beyond the Santos Ravine.
