Painted stela of Osiris Seter-au Painted limestone Mid-seventh century BCE Said to be from Abydos Harvard Museum of the Ancient Near East 1902.17.32 This stela was erected in the Late Period, possibly in the temple of Osiris at Abydos. The deceased, “who used to praise the god in Karnak,” and his family members are shown standing before an offering table in the presence of the sun god Ra.
