Bronze figure of a fiaker (coachman) greeting and lifting his hat. The monument from 1937 was created by Josef Engelhart. Because of the Second World War and in the post-war period the monument did not find a location. Only in 1963 it was placed in the Fiaker Museum. When the Fiakerplatz was redesigned in 1991, the monument found a new location. A Fiaker is both a two-horse carriage and its driver. In Vienna the horse-drawn taxicabs are called Fiaker.
