Description

A complete, looped, Middle to Late Bronze Age palstave axe dating to c.1200 to 1000 BC recorded by the Portable Antiquities Scheme. The axe is almost identical to a palstave axe within the Ashmolean collection (catalogue number AN1927.2571).
