Fragment of one of the shields that were part of the tomb of the Frei Juan Ramírez de Segarra (died 1529) and located in the fortress/convent of Calatrava La Nueva (Aldea del Rey, Spain). Its complete shield was formed by three bands; five hearts placed in cross; a band embroidered by eight boilers; five pike points set in a cross and eight severed eagle heads.
