Tribal Longhouse

Description

This tribal longhouse was created for my current Searadia universe. It represents generally what the peoples of the searadia archipelago would have lived in during the late stone age to the late iron age (around 5-7000 years). Even when towns and cities were being established into the middle ages and even into the early industrial era, these houses would be relatively common out in the country side. They would differ in size, style etc, but the basic blueprint was always there. What made them popular was the relative ease of aquiring the resources to make these houses, and the comfort they brought inside even in the worst of weather conditions. With basic maintenance these houses would also last for generation after generation, provided they weren't destroyed by war, raiding, or a cataclysmic event.
