Description

Trench 3 at Wheldrake was the biggest, and located over some of the central features of the round-house settlement being investigated. The [Ouse and Derwent Project](https://www.facebook.com/IAOuseandDerwent/) is a three year community project examining the Iron Age landscape in the Vale of York. It is funded by a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
