Curtain Fig Tree, Yungaburra

Description

This model is of the majestic [Curatin Fig Tree](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curtain_Fig_Tree), a strangler fig (*Ficus virens*) located just outside of the township of Yungaburra in Queensland, Australia ([OSM](https://www.openstreetmap.org/search?query=yungaburra#map=15/-17.2853/145.5763)). The tree is estimated to be 500 years old and has a unique areial root system owing to the host tree falling into it's neighbour.  The model was captured with a RIEGL VZ-400 terrestrial laser scanner coupled with an RGB camera.
