Description

Memorial stone to the Austrian State Treaty and the Declaration of Neutrality in Deutsch-Wagram. On 15 May 1955, the Austrian State Treaty, which ensured the restoration of Austria as a sovereign, independent and democratic state after National Socialist rule in Austria, was signed. On 26 October 1955, one day after the withdrawal of the occupying forces from Austria, the Austrian Declaration of Neutrality came into force.
