Bright-rumped Attila *Attila spadiceus* [MLZ 28427](https://arctos.database.museum/guid/MLZ:Bird:28427) 21 March 1941 Chacala Nayarit, Mexico Collected by Chester C. Lamb Physical specimen held by the Moore Laboratory of Zoology, Occidental College, Los Angeles, CA The polymorphic Bright-rumped Attila is a mid-sized flycatcher found from Mexico through to Brazil. Across its range, the Bright-rumped Attila has both rufous and gray morphs, different iris colors, and even different song types. This particular specimen is the subspecies found along the Pacific coast of Mexico "*Attila spadiceus pacificus.*"
