A jasper Jack's Reef Pentagonal projectile point recovered during the 1943 archaeological excavation of precontact period sites along the Susquehanna River in Cecil County, Maryland by Richard Stearns and the Natural History Society of Maryland. These projectile points are broad, thin, and stemless. They date to the Middle and Late Woodland periods, ranging from approximately 400-1000 AD.
