Battle axe

Description

Battle axe, or Boat axe, from Hol parish in Västergötland. This type of ceremonial axe has given name to the so-called Battle Axe Culture that appears in south and central Sweden towards the end of the Middle Neolithic, c:a 2700-2300 BC.
