Plaster cast of a ceramic bottle from Moundville, Alabama, dating ca. 1400 CE. It is nowadays classified as Moundville Engraved, <i>variety Hemphill</i>. A photograph and drawings of this pot were published by Clarence B. Moore (1905:Figs. 8-10). The original is lost, and the cast is in a private collection. The bottle's diameter, as reported by Moore, is 6.12 inches (15.5 cm). Moore, Clarence B. (1905).
