Description

It can be difficult for dentistry students to relate x-rays and other 2D imagery to the 3D anatomical structures that they represent. This model was made to help them relate the landmarks on x-rays to the 3D anatomy that they refer to. The model was based on the BodyParts3D dataset and further modified in Pixologic Zbrush to add moredetail and to align with a specific x-ray in an e-learning module on cephalometry. Some important landmarks for reading x-rays are annotated.
