Al Mudaifi Petroglyph 5, Sharjah

Description

There are petroglyphs on three sides of this rock. At least one appears to be an Ibex. Still under study. Al Mudaifi is an archaeological site on a small hill on the north end of the town of Khor Fakkan on the east coast of Sharjah, UAE. It consists of a large number of petroglyphs that span the periods from the Neolithic to the 19th century. GDH ID 5 This project was done as a collaboration between the Sharjah Archaeology Authority and Global Digital Heritage. 3D model created in Reality Capture using 288 images.
