Die Atlas

Description

About the process This 3D model is made by extracting point cloud data from a series of calibrated images from a regular DSLR camera. The point cloud data is then processed into mesh data. A texture map for this model was also generated using the same images and applied to the mesh data. About the Skulpture The "**Die Atlas**" is a tile mosaic sculpture created by Artist Rafika Mettendorff and stands in the **Stiftung Eben-Ezer** institute in Lemgo, Germany .This sculpture is inpired by the "The nanas" sculpture in Hanover.
