Anta Grande de Comenda da Igreja

The Great Dolmen of Comenda da Igreja, or Anta Grande de Comenda da Igreja, was scanned by Global Digital Heritage in April, 2019. It is located in the municipality of Montemor-o-Novo, Alentejo, Portugal. This Neolithic megalithic tomb / site was used in the 4th and 3rd milleniums BCE, and is well preserved, except for its cover and some degradation noted in the corridor. It is one of the most important megalithic monuments in the Iberian Peninsula due to having preserved most of its original structure. 87 Faro laser scans and 4257 photos were processed in Reality Capture.
