**Location:** Cala del Carnaje, Cabo de Gata Natural Park, Spain **Longitude:** -2.013777 **Latitude:** 36.835016 Contact between a pyroxene andesite autoclastic breccia and the calcarenites below it. The breccia displays characteristics of subaqueous emplacement, including jigsaw-fit clasts and clasts with radial fractures and curviplanar surfaces. The contact is highly irregular, even vertical in places, and the breccia and calcarenite each contain pieces of the other unit. This demonstrates that an eruption caused the volcanic material to flow on a slope over semi-consolidated sediments, ripping off and deforming them.
