Breakfasts On Weekends

Weekend breakfast times are special for my family and me, for it is a time when we could gather around the dining table to start the day right with warm and homely food lovingly prepared by my mother. Amongst all of the delicious breakfast food my mum could whip up, a consistent favorite breakfast spread of mine has a more traditional touch – a combination of soft-boiled eggs and warm toasts with kaya spread in between. Familiar to many Singaporeans, this breakfast set is served in most food places around the island and is fondly labeled as ‘Our National Breakfast’. My mum’s rendition is the tastiest to me solely because she made it. This model consists of three parts: kaya toasts, basket with soft-boiled eggs, and a bowl to crack the soft-boiled eggs in. A total of 870 photos were taken using Nikon D5600 DSLR camera and the model was constructed on Agisoft Metashape Pro. The wooden board for the toasts measures 18.3x15.8cm, the basket has a diameter of 13.5cm and the wooden bowl has a diameter of 11.25cm
