one of the lesser known but most iconic German Cities in lower Saxony. Untouched by war for centuries, the city center of Celle consists of a huge number of half-timbered houses ranging back to at least 1526. Celle has a beautiful castle, and the old church stands in a center of a city thats blueprint has been unchanged for centuries.
