Basalt Fiber Units

Description

Basalt fiber is becoming more common as a geotextile. Basalt is very common on the Moon and fibers of it would likely be much stronger than such fibers here. They handle temperature extremes well too. This is a simple schematic of equipment on the Moon to produce both continuous and short basalt fibers.
