**Small barrel-shaped shell beads (n=465)** Location: Sellers site (31Cy42), Clay County, North Carolina. Period: Mississippian, Qualla phase (AD 1400-1600). Material: marine shell. Dimensions: for scale, the label in the model is 88.2 mm long. Notes: Catalog no. 1948a44. Please note shape distortion along the lower edges of the beads.
