Tower of Elahbel (November Challenge!)

Description

The #NEWPALMYRA November Challenge is to make visual renderings or models of the Palmyra Funerary Towers. We are starting out the effort by releasing the Tower of Elahbel. The Tower of Elahbel was built in 103 AD; it can be regarded as the finest example of this type of building; its niche shows the importance of funerary banquets in the cult of the dead at Palmyra.
