This steel [die](http://vocab.getty.edu/page/aat/300206576) is octagonal in shape and made by William Mossop (1751-1805), [Dublin](http://www.geonames.org/2964574/dublin.html). The die shows the draped bust of William Deane with the inscription GULIELMUS DEANE ARM and MOSSOP. One of the octagonal sides is inscribed with the number 3 and R WOOD.
