A slice of upper-Midwest Americana art, this is a tire that was made into a planter. Note that the maker used the tire's own rim for the pedestal. This bit of rural sculpture was found among a group of about-to-be-demolished roadside tourist cabins in east-central Minnesota. The cabins were built sometime in the 1930s.
