This model boat comes from the collection of [Dundee HeritageTrust](http://www.dhtcollections.com/) looking after [Verdant Works](https://www.verdantworks.com/), also known as Scotland's Jute Museum, telling the story of Dundee's textile industry. This is a model of a river boat which is typical of the type of boat used for carrying raw jute from the fields. It has a curved shape wooden cabin with basket roof and on the side reads 'Pak Jute Mill Ltd' in white. The 3D model was created by the Scottish Maritime Museum as a part of the Scanning The Horizon project, working with collections from Industrial Museums Scotland ([Go Industrial](http://www.goindustrial.co.uk)).
