The M-920 “Whiplash”, so named for its brutal recoil, was introduced 10 years after the XEMR. It was designed as a dedicated long range sniper, equipped with a high capacity battery clip and an advanced auto-correcting multi-wavelength scope. The weapon fired 11.7mm SABOT rounds loaded via bolt action. Each round could reach out over 5km at hyper-sonic speeds. Rather than use a traditional trigger, the weapon featured a fingerprint activated touch sensor. The sensor was supposed to increase weapon security and even prevent unintentional miss fire through bio-metric sensors that could (in theory) determine if user meant to fire the weapon. The M-920, seen here in digital jungle camo was one of the most successful EM projectile weapons ever built.
