Description

A biophysically realistic simulation of three identical pyramidal neurons with healthy, degraded, and missing axon myelin. Demyelination diseases like multiple sclerosis are characterized by damage to axonal myelin sheaths. In the rendered version, one can see how missing myelin impairs the action potential propagation speed.
