**Replica**, attic, bronze horse, height: 12,5 cm, 1000 - 700 B.C.E. (so-called geometrical period). The original can be found in the National Museum of Athens. The term "Geometric Style" stands for the preferred ornaments of that time: spirals, circles, triangles, etc. In this context, the Athenian ceramic quarter Ceramicus (kerameis = potter) was of great importance for production and distribution until about 700 B.C.E.
