Gothic mortar

Description

The presented gothic mortar was cast in bronze. It has a cylindrical shape with a flared, funnel-shaped collar ending with an 8 mm wide edge. The base of the mortar has five evenly spaced cast legs. It is an element typical of earlier Gothic mortars.
