Fresh Human Heart & Lung Bloc

This is a fresh human heart/lung bloc that was donated for research. The donor was a 57 year old male with a history of obesity, hypertension, atrial fibrillation (A-fib) leading to an ablation procedure, cardiomyopathy, and congestive heart failure. The heart and lungs were 3D scanned on a white table draping when received fresh from donation.
