**Story** This chest once belonged to a barbarian warlord named Odrak. He probably kept his valuables in it, and made it very clear with a crude inscription. The chest is made from aged oak, deer bones and hammered brass. Some damage is visible but it is still in usable condition. **Technique** Modeled in Blender with vertex modeling and subdivisions, then textured with Substance. It took me approx. 10-12 hours to complete. For the oak wood I used a beautyful whiskey barrel material from Substance Share. For the metal and bone materials I created my own with Substance Designer. Greatest challenge was the bone material, I'm still a little bit disappointed with it (if you have suggestions please comment!). Best part was making the hammered metal design - I used a complex cells noise generator and warped it a little bit, then merged with a wrought metal material before edge wear.
