Beaver-cut Birch

Description

This small birch (~8cm diameter) was one of a dozen freshly cut by a beaver in the spring of 2017. I was out on a run, so I didn't get the rest of the tree, felled next to it. Maybe next time. 39 images, shot with a Moto G3 in the Lamprey Pass Wildlife Management Area, Minnesota, USA. (Which is really close to the Carlos Avery)
