Description

War memorial of the municipality of Vienna at the Central Cemetery. The monumental ashlar monument was erected according to plans by Anton Hanak in 1925. On one side a gate, on the other side a wailing mother. Behind the war memorial is a large burial ground for about 15,000 sodalists from different nations.
