Killaloe High Cross

Description

This High Cross is an examples of a figurative high cross with has lightly inscribed interlace on the rear face. It was orginally located in Kilfenora and similar in style to other crosses from that area, leading it the suggestion that there was a workshop of stonemasons working close by. In the 1930s it was brought to Killaloe by the Bishop
