Ouse and Derwent Project 2018 - Trench 2

Description

The "Big Trench" at North Duffield was located over part of the interior of our huge Iron Age enclosure. It revealed a mass of intercutting features, both prehistoric ring-ditches and some later, probably Romano-British, rectilinear features. The [Ouse and Derwent Project](https://www.facebook.com/IAOuseandDerwent/) is a three year community project examining the Iron Age landscape in the Vale of York. It is funded by a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
