- Just the infill ('Rectilinear') from slicing (prepping) for 3D printing. - Model: 3D scanned bust. - This is a study into hollowing out the bust to create a cavity for pouring plaster into, Incidentally, this reduces print time, and material usage. - BTW, though "simply" creating a shell would create the cavity, it would INCREASE print time, and material usage: an "extra" surface would be created on the inside. - So, a different method was used, albeit unproven at this time: a 'Modifer' object (a scaled-down, and slightly edited version of the bust) is used (in PrusaSlicer) to modify the infill to 0% for the smaller bust inside. - Rotate/zoom in/out to get a better feel for the cavity...
