Martini Henry Carbine

Description

The Martini–Henry was a breech-loading single-shot lever-actuated rifle used by the British Army. It first entered service in 1871, eventually replacing the Snider–Enfield, a muzzle-loader converted to the cartridge system. (Source Wikipedia) I wanted to go for the SMLE but a crash demotivated me while working on it. Anyway, this model is interesting to work on because of this unusual mecanism. May 2017
