30 Image Photogrammetry

Description

Where to position your camera to capture a minimum number of images for a 3D reconstruction via photogrammetry. Imagine stepping around the sculpture with your camera, taking a photo each step, from 3 different angles: low, medium and high. Remember: * Keep your object in focus * Don't mix zoom levels * around 80% overlap between images * don't over or under expose * shiny or transparent objects are not good subjects for photogrammetry * generally more images = a more detailed 3D result , but this is a good start.
