Syntype Cited by Fox Strangways (1892b, p. 147) as Glyphea Prestwichi Carter MS. He noted that it could be a variety of G. rostrata. Cited by Woods (1927, p. 52) as Glyphea Prestwichi sp. nov. Blea Wyke, North Yorkshire. Colour laser scan. Faro laser arm.
