With diagonal axis, a route is formed empowering the user along the rhythm of the islands from manmade repetitive hedging, landscaping and levels to gardens, exposed meadows and of course the cultivated allotments. All themes of island life living in harmony with one another. The space between the islands and its varying proximity reflects that of the sea, while the centre most islands ‘the mainland’ contain the fertile soil for the allotments. A singular deciduous tree punctures the skyline reflecting the solidarity of island life giving aligned shadows over the island in different directions throughout the day. At the peripheral edge islands brimming with meadows form the end of this garden and the beginning of a another. Together a wholesome garden.
