Yoncalla Series Monolith

Description

A soil monolith of the Yoncalla series. The Yoncalla series consists of very deep, somewhat poorly drained soils that formed in colluvium from extrusive igneous rock. Yoncalla soils are on foot slopes, toe slopes, and alluvial fans. Slopes are 2 to 30 percent. The mean annual precipitation is about 45 inches, and the mean annual temperature is about 53 degrees F.
