Automatic segmentation of a 3D handsample model

Description

This is an example of a 3D automatic segmentation of a photogrammetric model of a hand sample of tonalite with mafic inclusion. Considering the geometrical properties and the color attribute, it is possible to develop algorithms for the automatic recognition of lithological (/mineralogical) features of the 3D models.
