Experimenting with photogrammetry shooting scenarios for small objects. The majority of images used a lightbox to provide an even white background (slightly overexposed). No masking was required to align then entire set of images as one component. The longer exposure require to overexpose the lightbox required the use of a tripod which in turn made positioning a little more awkward. Using a flash in the lightbox will enable handheld shooting to easier positioning of the plane of focus, thus requiring fewer images.
