Head of *Phyllium philippinicum* (Phasmatodea: Phylliidae) Imaged with the [scAnt](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4694713/) setup, modified to house a Nikon D3500 DSLR with a Nikon EL-Nikkor 50mm 1:2.8 lens in reverse. 4,620 single photos. Focus-stacked to 220 images with [Zerene Stacker](https://www.zerenesystems.com/) (PMax). This one was a bit difficult because due to the alcohol storage, the specimen was almost white, so before reconstruction I ran some contrast enhancement and background subtrsaction steps in [Fiji](https://imagej.net/software/fiji/): * Enhance Contrast 0% * Add 15 * Gamma 1.56 stack * Subtract Background 700, light, separate * Enhance Contrast 0% Without these steps, the reconstruction resulted in a white cube. Reconstructed in [Meshroom](https://alicevision.org/#meshroom) with standard Meshroom settings, except that I set Texture downscale to 1. Decimated to 70% of original triangles in [Blender](https://www.blender.org/). \# PR_0354, PR_2097H; ERC_5632
